The 3 Counties Lacrosse Club were very proud to host this prestigious Senior England Ladies Lacrosse Territorial tournament at Malvern St James Girls' School over the weekend of the 12th/13th December. It was 2 days of extremely competitive lacrosse that gave everyone a chance to see not only the senior ladies play but two of the Centex teams who play for England Under 19s. The Centex 1st team won all their matches and will, no doubt, be a force to be reckoned with at the next World Cup in 18 months time. The Tournament was won by The Midlands who are coached by Ali Smith and managed by Rebecca Roberts-Gowen who has just taken over as the Senior Ladies coach for the Welsh Lacrosse Association. 3 Counties Lacrosse are pleased to announce that Rebecca will, on occasions, also coach the 3 Countiues Lacrosse players.
The refreshments were put on by members of the 3 Counties Lacrosse Club and Friends and were much appreciated by spectators and players due to the cold conditions that were experienced that day.
